About Us


Chastity Oakes, RN - President/Director of Nursing

Ms. Oakes has 12 years of vast experience in the healthcare industry. She started her nursing career as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and later trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Ms. Oakes then moved a step further in her nursing career by becoming a patient care technician (PCT). She continued her journey of learning and career growth by becoming a registered nurse (RN) and she did not just stop there. Her quest of nursing education is still going on as she is at present pursuing a Master’s degree in Nursing Education at Walden University. Ms. Oakes comes from a nursing background of renal, GI, school nursing, ICU/ICU step down administration and oncology. She is an active member with the American Nursing Association and the Oncology Nursing Association. In her spare time, she enjoys researching her family history, reading a good book, fishing and other outdoor water sports. Ms. Oakes is the mother of two extremely talented kids who are very active in dance, gymnastics, cheer, Taekwondo, band and track.


Angela Martin, RN - Health Program Director

Ms. Martin has brought her 26 years of extensive knowledge to her position as Health Program Director at AHI. She completed her education at the University of West Georgia with major in Nursing. Ms. Martin comes from an extensive background of nursing including med/surge, OB/gynecology, ED, ICU, rehab, utilization management and long-term care (LTC) management. She is married, has an adult child and two dogs.  Ms. Martin enjoys travelling and shopping, the company of good books, and spending time with her family.


Gina Johnson, BA Education - GED Program Director

Ms. Johnson has 45 years of vast educational experience. She completed her education at the State University of West Georgia majoring in Special Education. Ms. Johnson has a wide experience of working with students with all kinds of needs ranging from the severely profound to those who are educationally gifted. She is at present working as an educator at Haralson County high school in Tallapoosa Georgia. Ms. Johnson has been an educator at Haralson County high school for past 20 years. When she is not teaching her nursing students, she enjoy spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and water aerobics.
